Schools and Trainee Surveyor Programme

The C&W Trainee Surveyor Programme is a unique scheme run in partnership with Lambeth College, Clapham and the University of Westminster and has been running for 5 years. Students apply for an opportunity to receive sponsorship for their final year at college and continue to receive financial support for their undergraduate degree whilst working on a part-time basis with us. Upon successful completion of their penultimate year at University they join the graduate programme and begin to work towards their APC. This provides a life-changing opportunity and the resounding success of the programme was acknowledged in 2009 with a special commendation at the London Education Partnership Awards Ceremony.

C&W is committed to managing diversity as an employer and realise that the search for talent can reach far and wide. We value the differences that a diverse workforce brings to the firm and to our clients. By partnering with schools we aim to help widen the horizons of young people (11-25 year olds) whose opportunities are limited by their domestic, social or financial circumstances. We aim to give these young people opportunities for improved education, help nurture their aspirations and promote their personal growth. Offerings include business games, mentoring, work experience and general advice on how to forge a career within their chosen field. As part of C&W’s commitment to the community we have teamed up with 3 schools within London in the first phase of our schools programme:

Lilian Baylis School of Technology, Kennington
Robert Clack School, Dagenham
St Saviours and St Olaves, Southwark
