C&W UK offers graduates in their penultimate year an eight week paid summer internship where you will learn from top professionals, gain knowledge from like minded peers and attend workshops and lectures designed to equip you. Subject to performance you could go back to university with a firm graduate job offer.

The UK summer internship is a prestigious eight week programme designed to put students through their paces on a demanding yet rewarding course of learning and real hands on experience.  The internship provides you with a unique opportunity for you to discover whether becoming a chartered surveyor and C&W is right for you, while taking those first critical steps on the career ladder. You will be able to build your network of contacts with senior management and the combination of on the job training will ensure maximum benefit from your time with us and enable you to make the most informed decision possible when you graduate from University.

Am I Eligible?

There is no typical C&W person and we accept applications from students from any degree discipline.  You must be motivated by success and possess flair, ambition and a real commitment to a high-flying career in property.

You will need to demonstrate a strong academic performance and be on course to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 classification in your undergraduate degree.  You will have researched the career and have a full understanding of the services that we provide as a firm and also what the graduate programme entails.

What Will I Be Doing?

During the eight week summer internship you will attend workshops and gain knowledge and understanding from professionals at C&W.  You will be within a team and you will work with clients and team members on projects and day-to-day business issues.  Each student will be assigned a buddy within their department, who will take care of you while you are with us.  You will have opportunities to attend site visits, meetings, data handling and partake in research and real projects.

Your internship will be structured and objectives will be set by your team.  Halfway through the internship you will have an interim meeting with your Supervisor to ensure that you are making the most of your time with us.  Dependent on performance, a small number of summer interns could receive offers to join the graduate programme on completion of your undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
