We believe that it is important for you to feel part of the firm from your first day with us. So you will be allocated a buddy on your first day. Someone, often a graduate from the year above, who can show you amongst other things, how to change the paper in the printer or where to go for lunch. Someone who has recently been in your shoes and knows how you will be feeling. You will also receive guidance and support at every stage of your development from a committed team made up of individuals across the firm.
Our Director of Learning & Development ensures you get the best possible opportunities for developing your core management, team working skills and commercial awareness.
Our Graduate Recruitment and Diversity Manager takes care of the planning and organisation of your rotation programme, keeping a close eye on your performance reviews and being there to support you at every stage. Working closely with our APC Consultant (your APC Mentor) they are dedicated to ensuring that you gain the best experience to obtain your professional qualification.
We have an APC committee, made up of APC Counsellors and qualified APC Assessors to provide direction to the programme who constantly strive to improve the quality of the training and experience that you receive. They and other trained volunteers within the firm act as an individual point of contact and are allocated to graduates from day one providing you with consistency and support throughout your training.
Your individual Supervisor within your team will also support you in your APC and will be on hand to help in your day-to-day development. They are responsible for allocating you work on a daily basis that contributes towards your final submission.
But, like any great career, the majority of your success is down to the effort that you put in yourself.
